Verescence adds Verre Infini 20 to PCR glass range

After its Verre Infini 40, French glassmaker Verescence is launching a new glass composition: Verre Infini 20. The new compound is formulated with 20% PCR glass with a tint that has been refined to meet luxury brands’ aesthetic demands.

Verre Infini 20, Verescence’s newly launched grade of partial PCR glass, is formulated to offer an aesthetic closer to that of extra flint glass. Production of the new compound debuted this past September in the glassmaker’s sites in France and Spain. In a bid to increase its PCR glass offer, Verescence plans to gradually expand Verre Infini 20 production to the United States in the first quarter of 2022 and South Korea in 2023.

"We have invested more than €1m to adapt our furnaces to the production of recycled glass, which also contributes to the reduction of our CO2 emissions (5% lower emissions),” explains Alain Thorré, CSR Director atVerescence.
