A limited-edition coffret housing Trudon taper candles and a bottle of Seventy One gin hit the market earlier this year. The bespoke gift box with separate drawer is embossed and hot-stamped.
Feu de Nuit is a limited-edition coffret from French candlemaker Trudon and Seventy One, a recently launched gin brand created by Mert Alas of photography duo Mert and Marcus. Contained within the coffret are six black Ernesto-scented Trudon taper candles and a 700ml bottle of amber-hued Seventy One gin.
UK-based packaging supplier Clyde Presentation Packaging produced the gift box, using 3mm board sheathed in white embossed paper on the exterior and covered inside with a black paper.
The box is hot-stamped in gold and glossy black using Kurz foils, with embossing used to embellish some of the foiled logos. Featuring a magnetic closure, the box also has a ribbon pull for the separate drawer with insert that contains the candles.
Seventy One’s art deco-inspired gin bottle (Zignago Brosse) with octagonal base is made using semi-automatic production. It is topped with an engraved zamak cap.
Feu de Nuit retails at £205 ($254).
