E-commerce and eco-friendly packaging are notably on the agenda at Reims-based trade show Pack & Spirit, which is going digital for its 2021 edition. The one-day, online event on June 17 will propose a variety of workshops and roundtables.
Pack & Spirit is happening online in 2021, with its digital program on June 17 designed to enable participants to network and keep up to date with key topics.
The roundtable speaker line-up includes executives from Ruinart, Bacardi, Pernod Ricard and Champagne Billecart-Salmon, who will discuss topics including e-commerce, sustainable packaging and CSR. Eric Coelho from Champagne Billecart-Salmon will participate in a roundtable entitled ‘Packaging & Optimization of the Human-System Relationship’, while Ruinart’s Patrice Baraud is part of the ‘Can Packaging be Sustainable?’ session.
Bacardi’s Benjamin Lefebvre Henault, meanwhile, is partaking in the ‘How to Implement and Develop E-Commerce’ discussion, and Pernod Ricard’s Carine Christophe is on the panel of the roundtable entitled ‘How Are Wines, Spirits & Beer Producers Engaging in a CSR Approach?’
As for the workshops, these include a session from Emmanuel Soudant, managing director of Poly-Imprim’ (Eurostampa), who will discuss innovative and sustainable material solutions regarding label printing, while Kurz’s Linda Gröhn will host a workshop entitled “Sustainable decoration: incompatibility or competitive advantage?”
Attendees will be able to discover exhibitors’ products and services, and network virtually thanks to chatrooms and a messaging system.
The event’s Forum d’Innovation competition is also returning this year. Rewarding the best new technology or application, the competition is judged by a jury of professionals. Visitors and exhibitors will also be able to vote on their preferred entry.
