UK-based brand The Spirit of One has expanded its spirits range with One Vodka. The design is centered on the brand’s signature butterfly symbol, with relief decorations on the bottle.
One Vodka has joined The Spirit of One’s portfolio, which previously consisted uniquely of gin. The British brand turned to London-based design and illustration studio Saint Design to adapt its signature bottle for the latest launch.
The tapered, art-deco inspired bottle (Stoelzle Flaconnage) features a bespoke design created to complement the butterfly symbol and the original gin label, designed for the brand’s launch in 2017. With its asymmetrical hexagonal structure, the bottle is said to weigh less than the average spirits bottle, says the brand. Its strong shoulders are offset by relief butterfly wings with a variety of tactile glass impressions.
The vertical label made of recycled apple pulp (Berkshire Labels) fits inside the embossed decorations on each side. Its textured finish is the result of a tactile varnish applied over selected colors. Multiple layers of clear varnish create the effect of emboss and sheen, without the use of foil. An epigram on the reverse side of the label incites the consumer to remove the labels after use to repurpose the bottle as a carafe.
The wood and natural cork stopper (Liquor Bottle Packaging) is hot-stamped with the brand’s butterfly emblem.
One Vodka launched in October and retails at £35.
