Austrian glassmaker Stoelzle now offers screenprinting to its customers in the US, and expanded decoration capacity in Poland.
Stoelzle Glass Group has opened a decoration facility at its Monaca, Pennsylvania site in the US. The glassmaker now offers screenprinting to its customers with an annual capacity of up to 20 million bottles. Available decoration options include organic and UV colors, precious metals, ceramic colors, printing around corners and in 360-degree motions, says the glassmaker. Its US decoration facility is the glassmaker’s fourth worldwide.
“North America represents one of the most important markets for the liquor and spirits industry globally, and now we will have more to offer new and existing customers,” Dr. August Grupp, Head of Business Unit Spirits at Stoelzle Glass Group, said in a statement.
In Poland, Stoelzle Czestochowa has added a new printing machine to respond to growing customer demand. Joining the existing seven lines of Kamman printing machines, the new line has four sections and a 20% more efficient new lehr. Capacity per shift has now increased from 12,500 pieces to more than 25,000 pieces.
Stoelzle Glass Group serves the pharmaceutical, perfumery & cosmetics, spirits, and consumer goods segments across seven glass plants.
