Quadpack to debut airless packaging production in Mexico

Spanish beauty packaging supplier Quadpack said at LUXE PACK Los Angeles that it will begin producing airless packaging in Mexico this year to serve the North American market.

In line with its strategy to produce closer to its markets, Quadpack will begin trialing production of PET airless refillable bottles and jars in Mexico this March. The first production runs are slated for June.

The molds are made in Germany and the packaging produced by a partner in Mexico, the company tells Formes de Luxe. Quadpack’s airless production capacity in Europe is some 20 million units annually, and the company is expecting to produce some 5 million units per year in Mexico in a first instance.
