PSB Industries to acquire Qualipac

Consolidation continues apace in the luxury-packaging realm. PSB Industries, French owner of beauty packaging manufacturer Texen, has announced that it is in talks to acquire Qualipac, the plastics and metal (aluminum and zamak) supplier owned by French glassmaker Pochet Group. The deal will also include Priminter, Pochet’s trading division focused on promotional items.

Groupe Pochet explains that the move will allow it to reinforce its glassmaking business and also to develop Solev, its decoration division.

Qualipac reported turnover of €239m in 2019.

The deal is set to be final at the end of the first half of this year.
