Perrier-Jouët teams up with James Cropper for Cocoon secondary packaging

James Cropper showcased Cocoon, its new secondary pack for French Champagne house Perrier-Jouët.

After its partnerships with Ruinart helped redefine secondary pack for the Champagne segment, English papermaker James Cropper Colourform has developed a new pack for Perrier-Jouët’s Belle Epoque and Belle Epoque Rosé that was on show at Paris Packaging Week. The new molded pulp pack is double-embossed and contains vine shoots from the brand’s vineyards, which are visible in the surface of the paper. Weighing in at just 49 grams, the packaging’s grammage is reduced by 93% compared to the previous-generation gift box. The pack is free of glue and varnish.
