Pennelli Faro's monomaterial and interchangeable make-up and skincare brushes

Pennelli Faro's monomaterial and interchangeable make-up and skincare brushes

The Italian cosmetics brushes manufacturer highlighted its Solo and SoloXchange brushes at Cosmoprof Bologna this month.

Pennelli Faro’s Solo monomaterial brush on show at Cosmoprof Bologna has a handle, ferrule and bristles that are all made from recycled water bottles. The patented brush is free from glue and metals and is decorated without using inks.

The Italian supplier also presented SoloXchange, a brush that can be used with an array of different heads thanks to a click and lock system. Like Solo, it is monomaterial and made from recycled water bottles. SoloXchange can be used to apply make-up, skincare or haircare products. The range consists of two brush shapes and 12 interchangeable heads.

Both Solo and SoloXchange can be recycled without needing to separate the components.
