Parcelle 26 borrows from spirits for its olive oil

Olive oil maker Parcelle 26 drew inspiration from the spirits segment for its glass bottles packaged in recyclable and biodegradable gift boxes.

The standard bottle (Saverglass), with its sloped shoulders, thick base and short neck could be mistaken for a whisky or cognac, but the rounded design was also meant to bring to mind the shape of an olive, says the brand.

Rather than being adorned with a label, the bottle is enamel screenprinted (Bernadet) and topped with a glass closure (Tapì) with a golden ring at the base.

In line with the brand’s sustainable positioning, the olive oil bottles are housed in gift boxes (Boxby111) made from premium recycled board (ESKA). The three-layer laminated solid board features the supplier’s ‘lay flat stay flat’ technology that ensures the board keeps its shape during the production process.

The minimalist boxes sport an indented silhouette of the olive oil bottle on the lid and are hotfoil printed.

Parcelle26 is a French family-owned company based in Paris. Its extra-virgin olive oil comes from olive groves in Tunisia.
