In keeping with its sports positioning, Paco Rabanne (Puig) opted for tin for its soccer-ball shaped collector’s edition coffret of men’s fragrance Invictus.

Cosfibel, the manufacturer of the limited-edition Invictus gift case launched early spring “pushed the limits of the material’s resistance” with this project. “Each of the two parts of the case, fastened by a metallic hinge and snapping shut with a groove, called for around 10 successive production operations, from stretching and shaping to embossing the décor in order to faithfully replicate the ball’s leather-stitch effect. Specific tooling was also developed,” explains the manufacturer.

The lettering and logo on the front of the case are debossed, while additional information is screen-printed in black and white.

Two PET inserts fitted inside both halves of the coffret hold the products, a fragrance and a deodorant, in place. The case is sheathed in clear PET (Grumbe) and screen-printed with black lettering.
