Paco Rabanne (Puig) has enriched its Invictus men’s fragrance franchise with a new scent. The trophy-shaped flacon has turned black, with a golden ‘V’ for victory on the facing.
Invictus Victory, Paco Rabanne’s latest men’s EdP, comes in the brand’s iconic flacon in the form of a trophy. The bottle (Zignago Brosse, Pochet du Courval) is decorated with a graded black lacquer (Pariche/Nigermat, Val Laquage VT, Pochet du Courval), which required careful opacity management at the shoulders, while at the base the lacquer was worked to retain the natural transparence and brilliance of the glass. An engraved ‘V’ on the bottle’s facing is hot-stamped in shiny gold.
The bottle is topped with an injected plastic spray cap (SAF, Qualipac) lacquered in matte black (Cromoplastica/Fivers, Solev). The pump, meanwhile, is Silgan Dispensing's Maestro model.
Created by Anne Flipo and Domitille Michalon-Bertier (IFF), Invictus Victory contains notes of incense, lemon, tonka bean and vanilla.
The fragrance launches mid-may in France and retails at €78 for 50ml, €103 for 100ml and €141 for 200ml.
