Inspired by Oman’s history in the trade of frankincense and spices, niche fragrance brand Oman Luxury unveiled an updated look with revamped packaging late last year.
Middle-Eastern niche perfume brand Oman Luxury’s reworked packaging design across its 11 scents includes Paramour, housed in a transparent bottle, and Angham, whose flacon is lacquered black.
The bespoke flacons (Bormioli Luigi) feature the brand name engraved on the glass and both the transparent and black lacquered versions are decorated using screenprinting. The flacons are fitted with a gold pump - Silgan Dispensing’s XD11 model with invisible dip tube. The black caps in bulk-dyed PP (Albéa) are weighted and fitted with magnets for a premium, soft closure effect. While magnets are less in favor in Western markets due to their ecological impact, magnetic closures are still greatly appreciated by consumers in the Middle East, explains the supplier.
Oman Luxury’s logo is embossed and hot stamped in gold on the top of the cap. A transparent lacquer was applied to the cap and the metallized PP collar, also produced by Albéa. The mold, cap and collar were done at its site in Zongshan, China, as were the components’ decoration, finishing and assembly.
In addition to the Middle East, the fragrances launched in France in January 2021 at high-end retailers including Jovoy in Paris.
