Genderfluid, a new entrant to the French pret-à-porter scene, has debuted with a clothing collection and a line of perfumes. The fragrances come in blue lacquered bottles topped with white spherical caps.
Visual artist Soull is behind Genderfluid, a French brand that is out to question masculine/feminine binary stereotypes. His mother, niche fragrance creator Majda Bekkali, composed the brand’s three fragrances.
The three parfums come in rectangular flacons (the Morisot model from Eurovetrocap), which are lacquered a lapis lazuli blue and screenprinted (JPM Décors) with graphics created in-house. Each illustration features a different flower in a nod to the fragrance composition (a lily, frangipani flower, and hibiscus). A white spherical cap (Alambicco) adorns the flacon.
The fragrance bottles are nestled in made-in-France fabric pouches (Les Etuis Mirault).
The three floral fragrances are: IEL, featuring notes of red mandarine, hibiscus flower and white musk; Lovely Queer, a blend of rum, frangipani blossom and patchouli; and Enby with lily, petitgrain and honey. A 50ml bottle retails for €95.
