New Chairman at Verallia France

Newly appointed Verallia France Chairman Pierre-Henri Desportes joined the glassmaker on November 2nd.

Glassmaker Verallia has named Pierre-Henri Desportes Chairman of its French business. He replaces Olivier Rousseau. Desportes becomes a member of the executive committee and reports directly to Verallia Group CEO Patrice Lucas.

Most recently Chairman and CEO of the Lighting division at Plastic Omnium, Desportes has also held roles at Saint Gobain, Michelin and Boston Consulting Group.

“I am delighted to welcome Pierre-Henri as Chairman of Verallia France. His industrial expertise, his commitment, his passion for our businesses and for operational excellence will enable us to pursue the ambitious roadmap that the Group has set for itself in France,” Lucas said in a statement.
