Beauty trade show Make Up in Paris has cancelled the 2020 edition of its show as a result of covid-19. The event was due to take place at Paris’ Carrousel du Louvre on June 18-19.
“In order to not put additional pressure on the teams and budgets of our exhibitors, we have opted not to postpone the show to the second semester, and are focusing instead on welcoming you in the best possible conditions on June 17-18, 2021 at the Carrousel du Louvre,” show director and co-founder Sandra Maguarian said in a statement.
MakeUp in Paris will, however, launch a digital platform that will go live on the show’s initial dates. Designed to foster exchanges, visibility and contacts, the platform will focus on trends, experiences and innovations across make-up and skincare. It will also provide digital marketing services and tools.
