The packaging for new perfume player Maison Sambin's unisex scents is comprised of stock bottles topped with zamak caps. It is the first brand to adopt Aptar Beauty’s patented fragrance diffusion technology Silk.
Founded by entrepreneur Erold Sambin, luxury French indie fragrance brand Maison Sambin launched with three unisex scents in November 2022. All three parfums – Shango, Oya and Osun – are inspired by West Africa’s Yoruba culture and were created by Sambin in collaboration with fragrance house SFA.
The perfume packaging was conceived by US-based designer Tristan Shaw. The stock flacons – Heinz Glas’ Botanicals model distributed by Coverpla – are adorned with digitally printed paper labels (Printor Packaging) with the text in relief. A polished, mirror-effect zamak cap (PCW) crowns the bottle.
As for the pump, Maison Sambin is the first brand to use Aptar Beauty’s Silk diffusion technology. The supplier explains that a new- generation micro-perforated nozzle replaces the traditional one-way insert to offer better diffusion. Dosage depends how the pressure and for how long the pump is pressed. According to Aptar Beauty, the “ultra-fine and gradual diffusion can be up to ten times longer than that of a classic spray.”
Maison Sambin’s fragrances come in FSC boxes (Nortier/Alliora) that are offset printed with silver hot-stamping on the logo. They retail at €179 for 50ml. A fourth scent is in the works for 2024.
