Packaging trade show LUXE PACK Los Angeles is gearing up to welcome almost 70 suppliers of primary and secondary packaging on February 23rd-24th, 2022. The Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute is a show partner this year, and companies lined up for the conference program include Estée Lauder, Sephora, and Levi’s.
After a hiatus in 2021 due to the global health pandemic, LUXE PACK Los Angeles is back this year. The two-day event is being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center alongside MakeUP in LosAngeles dedicated to make-up and skincare - see our newsletter next week for more information on this portion of the show.
"LUXE PACK Los Angeles 2020 was the last show we were able to hold before the pandemic hit. After two years, we are very happy to be able to hold this show again with nearly 70 exhibitors eager to showcase their new products and meet their customers face to face," comments LUXE PACK Shows Director Fabienne Germond.
Back by popular demand is the Turbo Talks Tour, which takes visitors on a whistle-stop, 45-minute guided tour of the companies showcasing sustainable packaging solutions for wine and spirits, fine foods and wellness consumer products.
Also back for 2022 is the Exploratorium, an experiential display showcasing retail and product launches from the past year created by show exhibitors.
Non-profit organization The Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute (C2CPII) is a show partner this year, and will be hosting a workshop on Wednesday 23rd February on designing sustainable packaging and products in line with its Cradle to Cradle Certified standard.
Upcycling and monodose and DTC packaging are also on the conference agenda. Not to be missed is Thinking Inside the Box: How Sephora is Turning to Packaging to Drive Sustainability and Impact, which delves into how the LVMH-owned beauty retailer is using packaging to push its sustainability agenda. A Connection Unlike Ever Before is a session featuring speakers from Estée Lauder Companies, Levi’s, and IoT agency SharpEnd, which will explore emerging digital technologies that can be leveraged for consumer engagement.
