Living Cap’s Mixy: a wood-based refillable cosmetics jar

Cosmetics and fragrance packaging specialist Living Cap (Labrenta) showed its refillable skincare jar Mixy at Paris Packaging Week.

Mixy from Living Cap is a refillable jar designed for cosmetics. The jar and cap are made from Lignum, a Mixcycling material based on the supplier’s FSC wood scraps, while the refill is in PP. Wooden fibers are visible in the injection-molded material, which can be colored using pigments. Decoration options include foiling, embossing and debossing.

Mixy is available in 8ml, with 5ml refill capacity as well as a 50ml version.
