Les Places d'Or cancels 2020 event following new lockdown

Paris-based trade show Les Places d'Or has cancelled its 2020 edition due to the French government's latest lockdown measures.

In light of the latest lockdown announced yesterday evening, the Paris-based trade show has had to cancel its 2020 edition set to kick off next week. "This was a tough decision for us especially because our inscriptions numbers were high, proof that luxury brands were ready to vist. This will be even more motivation for us in preparing the 2021 edition," explained the show organizers.

Some 40 exhibitors were confirmed for the luxury packaging and design networking event at Le Meurice hotel in Paris.

This is the latest in a string of cancellations: LUXE PACK Monaco, All4Pack and ADF&PCD and PLD Paris have also had to put off their upcoming editions due to the health crisis.
