Lanvin expands Éclat range with Mon Éclat

Lanvin (Interparfums) has launched Mon Éclat, a successor to Éclat Arpège, which is feting its 20th anniversary this year. The new EDP comes in a pebble-shaped flacon inspired by Éclat Arpège’s iconic round bottle.

Mon Éclat is the latest fragrance launch from Interparfums licensee Lanvin. The Parisian couture house tapped French creative agency Carré Basset for the packaging design, meant to give a modern twist to appeal to a younger demographic.

Mon Éclat's spherical flacon (Pochet du Courval) is taller and with thinner walls than its predecessor. The bespoke transparent glass flacon, topped with a silver zamak cap (Aura) engraved with the brand’s logo, boasts a slightly thicker base. Minimalistic pink and white lettering is screenprinted on the bottle’s facing (Atelier Sérigraphique de la Bresle). Intertwining rings, one of the brand’s historic design codes, decorate the perfume’s galavanized PP collar (Qualipac). The bottle is fitted with Silgan Dispensing’s Melody pump.

Paris-based design studio L'Appartement Parisien was behind the secondary packaging design, which featurs contrasting tones of magenta and pink with different hues of beige. The cellulose cardboard boxes (Verpack) are offset printed in pantone colors and finished with matte and glossy varnish. The brand logo is hotstamped in silver, while embossing was used for the remaining text.

Mon Éclat is a fruity fragrance with notes of jasmine composed by IFF perfumers Mackenzie Reilly and Nicolas Beaulieu. The EdP launched in June, priced at €49 for 30ml, €59 for 50ml and €79 for 100ml.
