Italian luxury lingerie brand La Perla has expanded into the beauty realm with a range that includes nine fragrances. The packaging for its line of haute parfumerie scents consists of colored bottles topped with spherical caps and cylindrical outer packs.
La Perla Beauty, the beauty arm of La Perla, has debuted its beauty and fragrance offer. The fragrance part comprises the brand's new signature EdP and a line of eight haute parfumerie scents.
Inspired by La Perla’s lingerie, the signature scent (30ml, 50ml and 90ml) comes in a rounded, dark lacquered bottle (Pochet du Courval) with a black grosgrain collar. The spherical, injected cap is lacquered in mother-of-pearl (VPI Faiveley Plast). The brand name is hot-stamped in gold on the facing of the refillable bottle; a transparent “window” on the side of the flacon enables the consumer to monitor usage. The black, gray and beige box (Doro) in Iggesund’s Invercote 330g paperboard is hotstamped in gold, embossed and features touches of glossy and satin lacquer.
An EdP, the floral woody was created by Louise Turner (Givaudan). It contains notes of citrus, violet leaf and neroli.
La Perla's line of eight haute parfumerie fragrances (30ml and 120ml) sports colorful bottles and caps. The lacquered flacons (Pochet du Courval) - hotstamped gold with the brand name - include petal pink and ruby red variants, while the spherical resin caps (VPI Faiveley Plast) come in shades including anthracite, gold and yellow. The caps are made in France’s Jura region using an artisanal process of casting, machining and polishing.
The EdP nestle in hand-assembled cylindrical secondary packaging (Cavalieri & Amoretti) made using FSC-certitified Winter Envira 100% PCW (Post Consumer Waste). The boxes are offset printed and embossed to create a ribbon effect. Both the brand logo and fragrance name are hotstamped gold.
The La Perla Beauty collection also includes bodycare and make-up.
