With the new La Bouteille Sur Mesure service from Bugatti and Champagne Carbon, luxury consumers can personalize their Champagne, its carbon fiber bottle and Bugatti-inspired case.
Last year saw the introduction of the one-of-a-kind La Bouteille Noire from luxury carmaker Bugatti and Champagne Carbon, which encase a 15-liter bottle in three layers of carbon fiber by IXO Carbon. La Bouteille Noire sold for over £240,000 (€273,555) at auction.
The two parties are now perpetuating the concept with the introduction of La Bouteille Sur Mesure, a new service enabling consumers to tailor both product and packaging.
With this new service, consumers can personalize their product via the Champagne itself, by choosing the vintage, as well as customizing the bottle and the case. The 15-liter carbon fiber bottle is available in a range of finishing materials, including what is described as “the world’s first photoluminescent forged carbon fiber bottle”.
For the case, clients can opt for version that is a sculptural representations of either the Chiron, Divo, Bolide or Mistral car models, in their choice of paint or leather. Integrating a cooling technology is another option. For those who wish to push the personalization card even further, they can order a case that resembles their own Bugatti car, or opt for entirely new designs.
