A commercial partnership signed with Albertini Packaging Group will allow Knoll Packaging to produce its secondary packaging in Europe for the first time.
US-based luxury secondary packaging supplier Knoll Packaging announced a commercial partnership today with Italy’s Albertini Packaging Group (APG). The agreement between the two family-owned companies will allow Knoll Packaging to develop its industrial production capacity beyond China to Europe thanks to APG’s manufacturing facility in Belgrade, Serbia. The site, which will be able to service "growing production demand," according to Knoll Packaging, is specialized in the production, assembly and decoration of coated rigid boxes.
"The two companies will be allies on the market, but above all, they will be able to exchange technical and production know-how on a daily basis. The agreement will allow for a strong acceleration in terms of volumes produced and orders beginning 2023 for both entities," Ben Cohen, Creative & Innovation Director at Knoll Packaging tells Luxe Packaging Insight.
“This partnership fits perfectly into our plans to offer rigid packaging with added value and a high level of expertise currently produced in Asia in our Serbian facility,” commented APG President Emilio Albertini. Jeremy Cohen, Founder & CEO of Knoll Printing & Packaging, added: “Together will be able to set a new standard for luxury European manufacturing.”
Knoll Packaging is specialized in secondary packaging for the fragrance, cosmetics and spirits markets.
APG operates three divisions: Luxury & Cosmetics Packaging, Labels & Sleeves and Pharma Packaging.
