Interparfums has added a new fragrance duo to Karl Lagerfeld’s Les Parfums Matières, a collection introduced in 2017. The men’s EdT and women’s EdP feature transparent fragrance caps with inserts that echo the color of the flacon.
Bois d’Ambre and Fleur de Thé, the latest fragrance duo from Karl Lagerfeld, are housed in cylindrical flacons (Stoelzle Masnières Parfumerie) featuring a graded lacquer and black screenprinting (Atelier Serigraphique de la Bresle). They are topped with a bi-injected Surlyn cap (Texen CSMI) featuring a PP insert color-matched to the bottle. For the supplier, achieving the cap’s crystal clear appearance was a challenge, along with delayed customization of the insert.
The grain leather texture boxes (MMPP) – white printed black for the women’s scent and black printed white for the men’s – feature a colored band with the name of the fragrance.
Men’s EdT Bois d’Ambre, created by Symrise’s Emilie Coppermann, combines sclary sage, bergamot and amber, while women’s EdP Fleur de Thé, from Alienor Massenet (Symrise), contains notes of citrus fruit, jasmin Sambac and camelia flower.
Launching in July, the fragrances retail at €39 for 50ml and €55 for 100ml.
