French niche fragrance player J.U.S has added three new perfumes to its Joyaux Sensorials range. With a metallic lacquer adorning the refillable flacons, the packaging is a departure from the brand’s usual pop colors.
Three new fragrances are joining French brand J.U.S’ portfolio this October. Dubbed SpritzLove, SpicyDelice and Andaluiza, the perfumes are part of the Joyaux Sensorials range.
Rather than its traditional bright pop colors, J.U.S opted for metallic hues for the refillable flacons (Zignago Brosse) designed by brand co-founder Thierry de Baschmakoff. They are decorated using French decoration specialist Pariche’s Metal Dream multi-layer lacquering technique for a satin metallic finish.
A gold metallized medal (Martineau) adorns the facing of the flacon, which is crowned with a resin cap (Technicaps).
As for the secondary packaging, the cylindrical cardboard canister (Spinnler) has a wallpaper-like pattern inspired by the form of the fragrance bottle.
J.U.S gave carte blanche to three perfumers for the new scents. Composed by Alexis Dadier (Robertet), SpritzLove blends a "Spritz" accord with a vetiver and oud accord. SpicyDelice by Marine Ipert (Symrise) features notes of vanilla absolute, Davana essence and a bouquet of spices. Symrise perfumer Pierre Gueros is behind Andaluiza, which combines pomegranate accord, cistus flower accord and Tonkalactone.
Launching in October, the fragrances retail at €50 for 25ml and €180 for 100ml. The 200ml refill costs €230.
