The flacon of Interparfums’ Mademoiselle Rochas in Black eau de parfum features studded leather for a resolutely rock-inspired design.
The scent is housed in the same bespoke flacon (Stoelzle Masnières Parfumerie) created in 2017 for the original Mademoiselle Rochas scent, this time lacquered in a glossy, deep black (Nigermat). The label (ICA) features the fragrance name.
“It was crucial for the French fashion house that the fine ribbing at regular intervals all around the bottle reflect its couture heritage. In addition, the bottle also had to have completely flat surfaces on both the front and the back in order to perfectly position the label,” the glassmaker explains to Luxe Packaging Insight.
A black leather ribbon decorated with studs (Oriol & Fontanel) adorns the flacon, which is topped with a silver cap (Meiyume).
Mademoiselle Rochas in Black is a floral, fruity woody scent created by Givaudan perfumer Nathalie Gracia-Cetto, with notes of black vanilla and an ambroxan accord. Launched this month, it retails at €57 for 30ml EdP, €77 for 50ml EdP and €106 for 90ml EdP.
