Valentino (L’Oréal) is launching its premier color cosmetics line this fall. Designed like fashion accessories, the premium-positioned collection includes refillable lipstick and compact powder packaging.
The debut make-up collection from fashion brand Valentino is hitting store shelves this September.
The brand’s signature red and ‘V’ logo are hallmarks of the range, which consists of 14 products including foundation, mascara and eyeshadow.
For the Very Valentino foundation (40 shades) and primer, the brand opted for a flacon in Verescence’s Verre Infini 40 glass made of 40% PCR glass. The foundation bottle is decorated using screenprinting, while the flacon for the primer is frosted and then screenprinted. Their glossy geometric caps (Qualipac) are said to be inspired by the designer’s couture gowns. Bi-injected and galvanized then coated with a transparent lacquer, the caps sport the brand logo in relief that is hot stamped gold.
The mascara (Albéa) consists of an ABS compound cap, PBT stem, PP bottle and LDPE wiper. It is decorated using a combination of red thermal lacquer, hot stamping and transparent UV varnish.
Rosso Valentino, the lipstick (Axilone), available in 50 shades, was designed to be refillable, as are the compact powder packs.
Launching in September, Rosso Valentino retails for €49, while the lipstick refill costs €29. Very Valentino is priced at €60 and the mascara at €42.
