English artisan spirits brand KEEPR’s has unveiled contemporary, bee-inspired packaging for its honey-infused spirits range. Launched in March, the new branding aims to appeal to environmentally conscious consumers who are ready to support local, more sustainable spirits production.
British Honey Company’s artisan spirits brand KEEPR’s has upgraded the bottle of its existing honey-infused spirits range of bourbon, rum, and three different flavors of gins. The brand worked with UK-based design agency Sip Studio on the concept, bottle and label design.
KEEPR’s commitment to provenance and bee conservation sparked the need to rethink the bottle, resulting in a design recalling the key ingredients of the spirits, notably honey. In a bid to minimize the packaging's carbon footprint, the brand opted for a bespoke bottle from Allied Glass. Made of flint glass with 50% recycled content, the bottle is lighterweight than its predecessor.
The bee theme also features on the label (The Label Makers Ltd), with illustrations featured on the reverse side. Made with 100% recycled uncoated paper, the label is embellished with copper hot foil and a high-build tactile lacquer on the brand logo.
The bottles are topped with bespoke wood and cork stoppers (Berlin Packaging UK) decorated with an engraved honeybee on the top.
KEEPR’s spirits collection comprises honey-infused bourbon, rum, and three different-flavoured gins.
