HCT by kdc/one showcased its latest refillable and monomaterial packaging solutions at MakeUp in Paris trade show. Packs suited to solid formulas were also a focus.
Offering end-to-end turnkey solutions, global packaging manufacturer HCT by kdc/one highlighted its refillable Bubble Stick solution at MakeUp in Paris trade show. In line with the growing trend for solid formats, Bubble Stick is suited to sunscreen, deodorant and soaps; the packaging solution comes in 30ml or 50ml capacities. Comprised of base, cap and two inner pieces, the primary packaging comes in either monomaterial PP or PET. Positioned as a more premium product range, the supplier offers an aluminium cap and base option that can be separated by the consumer prior to recycling. The full Bubble Stick pack and its formula are manufactured in France.
Monomaterial dropper in the limelight
The supplier's monomaterial skincare dropper, ideal for serums and eye-care formulas, features bulb, stem and body all made of PP, in a bid to facilitate recycling. The PP bulb is said to be thin enough to be functional, although it is more rigid to the touch as compared to traditional rubber bulbs. The dropper pack comes in a 30ml capacity and supports a number of decoration techniques including hotstamping, offset printing and metallization.
HCT was acquired by Canadian full-service beauty supplier kdc/one in 2019.
