An eco-designed version of Guala Closures’ bestselling Divinum screwcap is joining the company’s Blossom Sustainable Closures collection. Divinum Blossom is first launching on the French market.
As it continues to evolve its product offer to meet the market’s growing demand for sustainable solutions, Guala Closures is adding a new version of its top-selling Divinum screwcap for wine bottles to the eco-designed Blossom line-up. Like the original cap, Divinum Blossom is made of “an average” of 58% recycled aluminum; the new version includes a liner composed of up to 100% bio-based PE, while bio-based plastics make up the expanded portion of the liner.
As the outer shell is in aluminum, the decoration possibilities remain the same. The barrier, mechanical and organoleptic properties also remain unchanged, according to the company.
The company has said it aims to use 35% recycled material in its products by 2025. The Blossom range launched in 2020.
