The Fragrance Foundation France hosted its annual awards last week recognizing perfume excellence. This 29th edition crowned Parfums Caron and Giorgio Armani Beauty the winners in the best bottle category.
The winner of the best men’s fragrance bottle at The Fragrance Foundation France’s 2021 awards went to Parfums Caron’s Aimez-moi Comme Je Suis, designed by Caron and Alnoor Mitha De Bharat. Giorgio Armani Beauty’s My Way was crowned best women’s fragrance bottle. Both prizes were attributed in the Professional Awards category in Selective Retail, voted on by the industry.
Best Men’s Bottle Design – Parfums Caron Aimez-moi Comme Je Suis
Parfums Caron’s men’s fragrance, Aimez-moi Comme Je Suis, designed by Caron and Alnoor Mitha De Bharat comes in a refillable bottleproduced by Stoelzle Masnières Parfumerie. It features a mirror-effect metal plate on the facing (Mill) and faceted cap in gunmetal gray (PVL Beauté).
Best Women’s Bottle Design – Giorgio Armani Beauty My Way
Giorgio Armani Beauty’s My Way’s refillable flacon (Bormioli Luigi) is made of 5% PCR glass. It is decorated with enamel screenprinting and topped with a blue curved cap (Albéa). My Way also scooped the award for best women’s fragrance.
Glassmaker Steklarna Hrastnik and packaging manufacturer Quadpack created the trophy, which first launched in 2019. Sylvie de France came up with the design of a totem of fragrance bottles; the glass is carved in relief on the front and back, while the block of ash wood at the base acts as a stopper, creating an inverted bottle of sorts.
