Yotuel Garnacha

A tin capsule with an irregular shape at its base designed to imitate the appearance of wax.
- Brand: Bodegas Gallego Zapatero
- Supplier: Rivercap
Bodegas Gallego Zapatero opted for Rivercap’s Tempo Tin Capsule for its Yotuel Garnacha wine. Made of 100% pure tin via a stretching process using specially created mandrils, the capsule has a rustic look: no two are the same. Its creation required adjustments to the supplier’s traditional production process. Despite the irregular shape at the capsule’s base evoking the visual aesthetic of wax, application on the bottling line remains efficient. The capsule is decorated using water-based inks.

A cork and aluminum whisky stopper.
- Brand: Glenfiddich
- Supplier: Amorim Top Series
The one-piece aluminum stopper boasts a premium and innovative design. Aluminum was chosen over the more commonly used zamak, as it is lighter, less energy-intensive to produce and more readily available. Produced by CNC, it is finished by anodization, said to be less polluting than electroplating. The stopper’s premium finish demanded it be free from imperfections.
