Part of LVMH’s Kendo brand incubator, Fenty Beauty has launched its first fragrance, Fenty Eau de Parfum. The scent comes in a brown lacquered bottle.
Singer Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty unveiled its first scent this summer. Dubbed Fenty Eau de Parfum, it comes in a bottle (Pochet du Courval) described as “a harmonious balance of femininity and masculinity, vintage and modern.” The curved flacon’s amber-brown lacquer is said to reproduce the effect of bulk-dying. Both the collar and cap (Qualipac) are in Surlyn, with the cap engraved in the mold with the brand name.
Rihanna worked with LVMH Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud on the unisex scent, which is said not to fit into a traditional olfactive family. It combines magnolia, musk, geranium and patchouli.
Rihanna’s previous fragrances were launched under license with Parlux.
