Celebrating a quarter century of packaging innovation, the 2023 Formes de Luxe Awards has more than 75 luxury products competing for a coveted award in 22 categories this year across the beauty, fragrance, wine and spirits sectors. The winners will be announced at a ceremony during LUXE PACK Monaco on October 2. Take a closer look at the products in the running.
The Formes de Luxe Awards categories evolve each year in line with the luxury market's packaging trends. This year’s newly minted segments include Molded Pulp Packaging, which saw both niche and major brands competing, Fine Craftsmanship, with a duo of exceptional pieces and Home Fragrance. With a high volume of entries, Refill and Reload was split into two distinct categories: Skincare & Make-up and Fragrance. From a product perspective, the submissions for this edition confirm the luxury market’s drive to find alternatives to plastic for its packaging applications. Indeed, the vast majority of coffrets vying for an award this year focus on a single material, with premiumized cardboard packaging stealing the limelight.
Early September, our jury of experts: Stéphane Bernelas (LVMH), Marion Trossat (Interparfums), Nicolas Mathieu (Chanel), July Ntibila (Pierre Hermé Paris), Frédéric Pottier (Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët) and Alissa Demorest (Formes de Luxe) welcomed five new members—Céline Fleuret (Puig), Dorothée Vallée (Make Up For Ever), Célia Marchand (Champagne Telmont), Alnoor Mitha de Bharat, (Objets de Convoitises) and Karine Lagarde (Maison Linea)— for a lively day of debate.
The winners and stunning trophy designed by Formes de Luxe Awards partner Neyret will be revealed on the evening of October 2nd at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
