Discover Givenchy's packaging for Les Mythiques fragrances

LVMH-owned Givenchy has relaunched six of its iconic fragrances under a single packaging identity. De Vog designed the flacons, which are made by Pochet du Courval using its SEVA3 glass grade with 15% recycled content.

Givenchy III, Ysatis, Hot Couture Eau de Parfum, Hot Couture Eau de Toilette, Monsieur and Xeryus Rouge are the six iconic Givenchy fragrances that make up the Les Mythiques collection. A new packaging design was imagined for the line, with a bottle that pays homage to first fragrances launched by the maison's founder Hubert de Givenchy.

“We redesigned the historic flacon with tighter lines and with a graphic identity highlighting the house’s emblematic codes: the 4G logo on a matte white background enhanced by a gray outline,” Marie-Aude Flori, Co-founder of packaging design agency De Vog, tells Luxe Packaging Insight.

The flacons are made using glassmaker Pochet du Courval’s SEVA3 extra-flint glass with 15% recycled content. They are topped with a black aluminum cap (Silgan Aluminum) and are fitted with Aptar Beauty + Home’s VP Compact pump.

Regarding the secondary packaging, the box (B’Pack) uses the underside of Iggesund’s Invercote, which is decorated using offset printing and platinum embossing.

The fragrances’ olfactive signature remains unchanged. Launched this summer, Givenchy’s Les Mythiques retail at either €96 or €115 for 100ml.
