French brand Diptyque has added a scent diffuser to its home fragrance line-up. The product is part of its end-of-year holiday collection, designed around the red thread of a “cabinet of curiosities”.
Diptyque’s new fragrance diffuser is in the form of an oval, a shape emblematic of the luxury fragrance brand. Made of extra flint glass, it features a short neck and faceted body and is pad-printed on the base. The faceted design creates a prismatic effect whereby the rattan reeds appear multiplied. For supplier Zignago Brosse, the project marks the first time the French glassmaker has produced a home fragrance diffuser.
The refillable diffuser works via capillary action and is designed to fragrance large spaces. It is available with three of Diptyque’s scents: Baies, Rose and Tuberose.
