The LVMH-owned cognac brand’s store at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport features some of its most iconic packaging collaborations as well as the Hennessy Hands personalization workshop.
Hennessy has opened its first store in European travel retail. Located at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport’s new Terminal 1, the store showcases cognac-making savoir-faire and French art de vivre.
It stocks a range of Hennessy blends, as well as limited editions with artists and designers. These include its collaborations with porcelain maker Bernardaud and fellow LVMH stablemate Berluti. A one-liter limited edition of Hennessy X.O featuring the city of Paris in a “colorful, lifestyle-led design” is available as a travel-retail exclusive.
Building on the retail experience offered to consumers, the in-store Hennessy Hands workshop enables shoppers to customize their Hennessy Paradis cognac decanter and its leather accessories with initials, characters or symbols. Hennessy works with luxury products personalization specialist DWS for the engraving. The store will also organize mixology events.
"The Hennessy shop-in-shop at Paris-Charles de Gaulle T1 takes the customer experience to an unprecedented level, not only for the quality of its cognacs, but because it materializes the House's role as a worldwide ambassador for the French art de vivre," Laurent Boidevezi, President of Moët Hennessy Asia Pacific, Travel Retail & Private Sales, said in a statement.
