Croatian niche brand Uroni debuts with scented candle collection

Uroni, a Croatian lifestyle brand, launched late last year with a range of premium candles designed with sustainability in mind. Made using eco-friendly materials, Uroni candles are designed to have a second life as decorative objects.

Zagreb-based candle brand Uroni (or “immerse” in English) debuted with a collection of three premium scented candles inspired by the country's landscape. Croatian creative agency Fabular is behind the branding and packaging design. The candles are designed to resemble the letter U, with a vertical recessed groove allowing the candles to fit together to form a sculpture.

Each white clay candle jar (Keramika Novak/Keramika Nova) is handcrafted using a bespoke 3D rendered, plaster mold and fired at high temperatures to ensure durability. The brand’s logo is embossed on the facing and the jars, meant for resuse, are finished with a colored glaze. The white cap featuring the brand logo is made using a clay pressing technique. Each scented candle is housed in a cardboard box (Markek) in the same color palette as the jar inside. The box is offset printed in pantone shades.

The collection comprises three scented candles – Atop the Mountain Top, Lost in the Woods and Riding the Wave, retailing at €35. The brand plans to expand its portfolio to other lifestyle products, including soaps and scent diffusers.
