French premium packaging group Cosfibel has appointed Marie Sermadiras, who joined the group in May 2021 as Executive Vice President, as its Chief Executive Officer.
Having started her career as the founder of online beauty booking service Treatwell and moving on to the position of Global Chief Digital Officer at L’Oréal’s Active Cosmetics division, Sermadiras joined Cosfibel Group last May, working alongside the supplier’s Executive Chairman, Alain Chevassus. Sermadiras took over her duties as the group’s CEO on January 3rd, 2022 and will be supported by Deputy Managing Director Stanislas Péronnet and Corporate CFO in charge of Finance, management control and Administration Natali Spasenic.
Looking to 2022, the group expects to reach the $100m turnover milestone mainly thanks to double-digit organic growth and external acquisitions while “strongly focusing on high-value-added markets such as cosmetics, wine & spirits and fine food”. Cosfibel registered turnover of nearly $85m last year, which it says surpassed 2019 numbers.
