Papermaker G.F Smith has added a new paper-based packaging solution to its Colorplan range. Designed for versatile use in print and packaging, the Colorflute line is said to offer more than 1000 possible combinations in terms of color and embossing.
Launched just last month, the corrugated paper-based Colorflute line is the latest innovation from the UK supplier G.F Smith. The range uses 175gsm sheets from the existing Colorplan collection for assembly, which are available in over 50 different colors.

HandoverColorflute typically comprises three layers, including a corrugated middle section nestled between top and bottom paper layers. The e-flute corrugated section is made from a single layer of fluting and is available in fully recycled liner options of kraft or white. The top and bottom Colorplan sheets can be customized using 55 color shades and 24 embossing options offered by the papermaker. The sheet can also be finished as either one-sided or two-sided, with the one-sided option using the smooth side of the kraft or white e-flute as the backing.
