A chessboard-inspired pattern adorns Lancôme’s limited-edition Intimatte lipstick that launched in time for Valentine’s Day this year.
The Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge Intimatte lipstick comes in a case decorated with a checkered, flocked pattern.
Produced by Italian company In Deco Serigrafia, the ABS case is first lacquered with a matte finish, and the tone-on-tone flocking is then applied in a checkerboard pattern. Rather than a spray application, the supplier opted for glue deposition during screenprinting to apply the flock fibers.
The limited-edition pack is available in either pink or burgundy shades, with the lipsticks retailing at €39.
