French luxury brand Chanel has named former Unilever executive Leena Nair Global CEO, effective January 2022. Nair, who will be based in London, has served as consumer-goods group Unilever’s Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of its Executive Committee since 2016.
Chanel’s current CEO Alain Wertheimer will become Global Executive Chairman of Chanel.
