Autajon is strengthening its presence in Asia with the purchase of South Korean company Pacific Package. The cosmetics packaging supplier is specialized in folding cartons and rigid boxes.
Following its purchase of US-based Zapp Packaging last month, French packaging supplier Autajon has announced the acquisition of Pacific Package, a South Korean cosmetics packaging manufacturer.
Joining Autajon’s Packaging Division, the company specialized in folding cartons and rigid boxes for the beauty market has been renamed Autajon Packaging Pacific. The move strengthens Autajon’s presence in Asia, where it already has a foothold with two label manufacturers - Autajon Labels Shanghai and Autajon Labels Guanghzou, in China.
“The acquisition of Pacific Package [in] South Korea complements our two labels sites in China. Our Group is developing in Asia - as well as in Europe and America - to achieve relevant expertise in the face of fast-growing Asian markets in the field of packaging,” Autajon Group CEO Gérard Autajon said in a statement.
The acquisition comes hot on the heels of that of Zapp Packaging. Headquartered in California, Zapp Packaging is specialized in folding boxes. Autajon already has three production sites in the US.
