Asquan taps into trend for transparent make-up packaging

Rechargeable glass bottles and clear compacts were among the novelties on show at cosmetics packaging supplier Asquan’s stand at Cosmoprof Bologna this month.

In line with the trend for transparent make-up packaging, Asquan has developed packs for lipgloss, blusher or concealer with a transparent bottle, cap and applicator stem. Made from PMMA or PETG, the packaging is styrene free. Clear eyeshadow and powder compacts that are injected in PET and available in square or round designs were also on show.

Asquan also highlighted a new range of airless glass rechargeable packaging, where a PP recharge with service cap combines with a glass outer bottle and PP cap. Decoration options for the cap and bottle include frosting, printing and vacuum metallization. The refill can also be decorated, or injected in a solid color. The range is available in 15ml, 30ml and 50ml formats.
