Neomix, Aptar Beauty + Home's two-in-one airless pack launched in 2017, has been enhanced thanks to two new partnerships.
In preview of the Luxe Pack show in Monaco, the dispensing specialist unveiled two turnkey solutions featuring both pack and formula. In the skincare realm, Aptar called on Capsum, an expert in micro-fluidic formulation, which came up with two base textures (one light and the other rich) as well as three boosters: moisturizing, anti-aging and radiance.
In the makeup field, Strand Cosmetics Europe formulated two foundation bases (light and medium) as well as two boosters: a complexion activator and a light activator, the latter available with three types of effects. Neomix is a bottle with a double distribution system (and double nozzle) comprised of a main container for the base formula and booster cartridge that is clipped into its center. The mixture of the two formulas - a dosage that is roughly 20% booster and 80% base - is activated when the consumer presses the actuator; before that the formulas never come into contact. "This technology is a clear response to the trends of simplified routines and the reduction in the number of products used by consumers," explains Patrick Bousquel, marketing director EMEA skincare & color cosmetics at Aptar Beauty + Home. Clarins adopted Neomix for its latest launch Plant Gold, a dual oil-emulsion formula.
