A collection of five makeup brushes made exclusively of FSC-certified wood and synthetic “vegan” bristles. Given that there is no ferrule to attach to the handle, glue was applied only to assemble the tuft to the handle.
What’s innovative: The brushes are devoid of an aluminum ferrule; the tuft is assembled directly onto the handle.
What’s green: Made of FSC wood and synthetic “vegan” bristles, reduced use of glue and free of aluminum.
What the jury said: “A nice product with a lovely design. By forgoing the ferrule, the range is reducing its use of materials, and specifically aluminum. The reduced use of glue is also a plus.”
