Visitors to this year’s edition of All4Pack in Paris will be able to navigate the packaging trade show based on the kind of materials they are seeking out.

“Visitors looking for packaging in a specific material, such as wood or metal, will be able to see what’s new and what’s on show at the event,” explains All4Pack Show Director Olivia Milan. Trends by type of material will be revealed in September ahead of All4Pack, an event dedicated to packaging, processing, printing and logistics taking place in Paris from 23-26 November. This year’s conference program will be also be highlighting materials.

All4Pack is launching new areas designed to showcase innovation, including the Objective Zero Impact Area, a space that will boast workshops and conferences around sustainable packaging and enable visitors to exchange with around 30 start-ups. The All4Pack Innovations area, meanwhile, will highlight new trends and products and showcase the winners of the All4Pack Innovations Awards (the ceremony will take place on November 24), as well as the winners of five partner competitions (Oscar de l’Emballage, Pack The Future, Emballé 5.0, SIAL Innovation and De Gouden Noot).

Some 27 conferences will be held at the show, covering topics including eco-design, circular economy, end-of-life packaging and solutions for sustainable logistics and machinery. A mobile app, featuring the exhibitor list and an interactive floorplan, will also enable visitors and exhibitors to book appointments and video conferences, including for those unable to travel to the show. Certain conferences and start-up pitches will also be livestreamed on All4Pack’s digital platforms.

All4Pack is also publishing a white paper this year, The Packaging Revolution, in partnership with packaging specialist Fabrice Peltier. The paper will reveal trends in paper, including waterproofing and recyclable flexible pouches, and in plastics, such as marine and plant-based plastics.
