As a digital lead-up to the ADF&PCD and PLD show to take place on June 22nd-23rd in Paris, organizer Easyfairs is launching Digital Days, a three-day online format designed “to bring a vision of the future to the packaging sector”.
Each day of the new online event, free of charge for visitors, will be dedicated to a specific sector: March 23 is PCD Digital Day, focusing on the fragrance & cosmetics segment; March 25 is PLD Digital Day, covering the premium wines & spirits market and lastly, March 30, ADF Digital Day will address the aerosol and dispensing segments.
The online event will feature keynotes and panel discussions as well as interactive conferences via two new formats: Innovation Labs, hosted by packaging suppliers and highlighting trends in the area of technologies and materials, and Supplier Showcase, where a selection of manufacturers will spotlight their latest innovations.
Digital Days will also present the finalists from the PCD, PLD and ADF Innovation Awards; winners will be unveiled at the June show in Paris.
“Our mission is to drive innovation, bring inspiration and connect the key influencers in packaging development. We are very excited to bring this mission to the digital space and to remain the first major event of the year to give our community a vision of their future,” said ADF&PCD and PLD Paris Event Director Josh Brooks in a statement.
Easyfairs says it is partnering with its sister show, Milan-based Packaging Première, as well as the Pentawards, to bring a “strengthened international reach to these three days”.
Online trade show platforms are becoming a must in the current context. LUXE PACK launched its My LUXE PACK online event late November.
